The expansion tank has a shraeder valve (like a bicycle tube valve) for pressurization; it should be charged with approximately 25 psig. The acceptance volume of the expansion tank should be large enough to store up to 17 – 20% of the total collector system fluid volume. Use flex hose provided to connect the expansion tank to the HPAK Heat Transfer Appliance.
