The DC load-break switch of the inverter can be configured as a rapid shutdown initiator (SIM16-PEL64R-2). If a rapid shutdown initiator is required in your system and the DC load-break switch of the inverter is not easily accessible, RSI-US-50 Rapid Shutdown Initiator must be installed in the system. Up to 3 inverters can be connected to this rapid shutdown initiator using an adapter matched to the Sunny Boy Smart Energy.
