SMA Backup Select is available as an external box for single-phase systems (120 V) supporting household appliances when it matters, without the need for a battery. The perfect combination of efficiency and security, SMA Backup Select effortlessly bridges unexpected power outages with the help of the sun.
SMA Backup Select provides partial reliable backup for critical appliances with a 7 single-pole breaker backup box, delivering up to 3,840W of power when paired with the SBSE 3.8-7.7 Inverters and 5,760 W of power when paired with the SBSE 9.6 & 11.5 Inverters, with or without a battery automatically to select loads in the home. This system protects the most vital circuits, automatically managing five 15 A / 120 V outlets and two 20 A / 120 V circuits, delivering security when power matters most.
