The new Schneider Home system allows you to harness energy from the sun by converting the DC power from solar panels into AC power for your home. You can monitor and control your energy usage down to specific devices installed in your home to create a personalized energy system that suits your needs. In addition to powering your home, the Schneider Home system enables you to sell excess power your home produces back to the grid, allowing you to make money while enjoying the comforts of your solar powered home.
Part of Schneider Home, the HY8K1NA1 Inverter is a high-performance hybrid inverter used to connect the Boost battery and solar panels to the home and grid. The Inverter has DC ports for Boost and solar, with 3 battery inputs and 4 MPPT inputs for solar. The DC-coupling of solar and batteries allows for higher system efficiency when charging batteries from solar. When the HY8K1NA1 Inverter is installed with Boost and a Schneider Backup Controller, the system automatically powers the home during a grid outage. Homeowners can monitor, control, and automate their entire home energy with the Schneider Home app. For installers, use the easy-to-use commissioning app to save time. The installer portal web app will provide ongoing system monitoring and troubleshooting remotely. With the Schneider HY8K1NA1 Inverter, systems can be configured with solar and batteries, solar-only, or batteries-only.
