The Fronius Primo GEN24 10.0 is a hybrid inverter designed for home PV systems. It offers an integrated basic backup power supply with PV Point so that in the event of a power outage, energy is supplied through a designated socket without the need of a battery (as long as the sun is shining). Plus, you will have the option of connecting a battery storage system for a full backup power with an upcoming software upgrade. The GEN24 series is known for its premium efficiency, maximum power at high temperatures, and the ability to enable flexible and economical energy production. It is also capable of providing energy self-sufficiency for electricity, heating, cooling, and e-mobility with the use of a battery system. The Primo GEN24 10.0 integrates perfectly with an integrated monitoring and control system, providing real-time data access through Solar.web app. It is also programed with an intelligent algorithm which optimizes PV yields at the string level, eliminating the need for module level optimization components. An additional special feature is their Active Cooling Technology, which effectively protects the electrical components from heating up and thereby extending the service life of the inverter.

• Integrated basic backup power supply with PV Point - The integrated basic grid back-up - a socket that is supplied with power during power outages - ensures that important loads can continue to operate should the power fail.
• Option to connect a battery storage system for full backup power solution - For Full Backup, a battery and a switching device for safe grid disconnection are required in addition to the inverter.

However, it is also possible for the energy from the modules to be simultaneously fed into the battery and the in-house network. Also, not only can the battery be charged from the DC side, but also from the AC side (for example from existing PV systems or other energy sources, such as a wind turbine). This means the inverter is also suitable for AC-coupled retrofitting. The inverter manages these energy flows in such a way that the highest possible degree of self-sufficiency is achieved.
