Cell-Level Protection

SolarEdge ThermoShield™ technology is designed to protect individual LFP cells and help prevent cell-to-cell thermal runaway propagation in accordance with UL 9540A testing requirements.

Battery Block-Level Protection

An integrated array of temperature sensors continuously monitors each Battery Block and helps mitigate overheating. The Always-On architecture allows the battery system to continue operating even if an individual Battery Block becomes unavailable.

Battery Stack-Level Protection

The complete Battery Stack is designed to resist thermal runaway propagation while providing durable protection against environmental conditions.
