With a unique, DC-coupled technology, the SolarEdge BAT-10K1PS0B-02 Energy Bank Battery maximizes solar usage year-round and during an outage – requiring only one power conversion vs. three conversions with legacy AC-coupled technology. The battery and solar array are protected by a single breaker which reduces the amount of costly main panel upgrades needed for a backup system. The BAT-10K1PS0B-02 Energy Bank is based on Li-ion NMC and is compliant with advanced safety ratings, such as UL1642, UL9540, UL1973, UN38.3, & SolarEdge has now received UL9540A which reduces the required spacing from 3' to 6" away from doors/windows and existing batteries. TheThe BAT-10K1PS0B-02 Energy Bank is built for indoor/outdoor use and can be mounted on the floor or wall.
The BAT-10K1PS0B-02 Energy Bank also delivers more power at less cost, thanks to an industry-leading 94.5% round-trip efficiency—system owners can maximize solar use and lower utility bills. This helps speed up homeowner payback with the exclusive ability to simultaneously charge batteries AND send energy to the grid for credits (where available). Conveniently view and manage your battery, solar, electric vehicle charging and other connected devices with one app: mySolarEdge - It’s a SnApp. You may stack up to 3 Energy Bank batteries per SolarEdge Energy Hub inverter and up to 3 Energy Hub Inverters per Backup Interface (necessary for backup power if the grid goes down), for a maximum of nine batteries, delivering up to 30.9kW of continuous backup power.
