The Rubix RRS51280 R-Series Battery is a 48V/280Ah R-Series solar battery built for demanding energy storage applications that require durability, higher capacity, and long-term reliability. It provides 14.3 kWh of energy storage with LiFePO4 chemistry, Impactiv cell balancing, and closed-loop communication for stable operation under sustained loads.
Designed for larger systems, off-grid use, agricultural sites, and high-demand environments, the R-Series supports modular expansion up to 32 batteries in parallel for systems up to 457 kWh. This streamlined solar battery is focused on high-value bulk energy storage, long service life, lower cost per kilowatt-hour, and value without the added cost of 9540 certifications.
This R-Series battery is rated for 4,500 cycles at 80% DoD, uses prismatic Lithium Iron Phosphate cells, and carries a 10-year warranty.
