The Discover Energy HELIOS ESS 52-48-16000 is a high-capacity lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) energy storage solution designed for residential, backup power, off-grid, and light commercial applications. Delivering 16kWh of energy storage in a compact wall-mounted design, HELIOS combines advanced battery technology, intelligent controls, and robust safety features to provide dependable performance in virtually any environment. Built around Discover's fourth-generation Battery Management System (BMS), the HELIOS ESS offers seamless inverter integration, high-current charging and discharging capabilities, and long-term reliability backed by extensive real-world energy storage experience.
Engineered for flexibility and scalability, each HELIOS ESS battery provides 51.2V nominal voltage and 314Ah of capacity while supporting up to 200A charge and discharge current. Systems can be expanded from a single battery installation to large multi-battery configurations exceeding 500kWh, making HELIOS suitable for everything from whole-home backup to microgrid and distributed energy projects. The integrated high-current busbar architecture and pre-engineered cable options simplify installation and reduce labor costs.
Designed specifically for demanding outdoor environments, the HELIOS ESS features an IP65 / NEMA 3R-rated enclosure, integrated heating for cold-weather operation, and advanced protection against moisture, dust, and temperature extremes.
